| James Cornford (Space, place and the virtual university) is a Senior Research Associate whose primary interests are in the regional development implications of regulatory change and economic restructuring in the audio-visual and telecommunications industries and the application of communication technologies in higher education. He has carried out a wide range of academic and consultancy activities for a range of sponsors including the ESRC, the European Commission, the OECD, as well as local authorities, development agencies and private organisations. |
