John Leighfield (Advisory Committee) is: Chairman, Birmingham Midshires Building Society; Chairman, RM plc (the leading providers of IT to education in the UK); Director, IMPACT Programme Ltd; Chairman, Advisory Board, Warwick Business School; Chairman, Teaching Company Scheme Centre, Birmingham; Chairman, Alliance for Information Systems Skills; Board member, IT National Training Organisation; Council Member, Warwick University and Computer Services and Software Association. John has spent all his career in industry - all of it involved with computers and communications. He has a very keen interest in education (generally) and education and training for IT (specifically) over the past twenty years.
