Cabinet Office Minister's Ordinary Written Question for answer on 21 December 2000 [143690]

Mr. David Lidington MP (Conservative, Aylesbury), front bench spokesman on Home Affairs asked the Minister for the Cabinet Office of the e-Envoy what research has  been commissioned by the office into the use of the Internet by charities and not-for-profit organisations.

Mr. Ian McCartney MP (Labour, Makerfield) Minister of State at the Cabinet  Office responded: 

The Virtual Society? programme funded by the Economic and Social Research Council includes a research project on re-shaping the voluntary and community sectors in the information age. Further details are available on the Virtual Society? website.
